Destiny Armored Up!

Following up from my last post on the MG Destiny, I now have the clear armor on the MG Destiny. Let's see if all that work I did on that inner frame paid off...

Pretty good on the legs, ankles and feet so far. The details highlighted by the aluminum and brass paint can be seen from the outside.
You can also see that the inner side of the armor has its own details that can be clearly seen from the outside. Quite nice.
As expected, the armor parts will limit the amazing articulation of the inner frame.

It also looks good from the inner side of the arm.

On the outer side of the arms, the clear blue armor cancels out the colors of the inner frame. You can still see the details though.
Interesting to note here that only the left side of the armor uses a PVC for the shield connector. The right arm uses the usual ABS plastic. I guess it's expected that you only connect the shield on the left arm.

And similarly, since most of the torso is in clear blue, red and yellow, you won't see the colors of the inner frame.
I can't seem to open the cockpit anymore and I'm afraid of forcing it because of the brittleness of the clear parts. I already broke a peg on the shoulder joint, as per my last post. On my next post, you will see where else I broke some parts.
